This application is a simple-to-use cash register for the small business. It includes inventory management / tracking / alerts, revenue / expense reporting, recording of payment methods, cash-on-hand reconciliation, and customisable receipt issuance (softcopy and hardcopy). Note that it is recommended to always issue softcopy receipts via email or other messaging tools. However, if hardcopy receipts are required, it can be printed with an AirPrint enabled printer on the recommended paper size of A4/A5.
Data
- This application does NOT store any personal information of any sort.
- Under normal operations, the application data is stored locally on this device, and will be retained on the device for up to a maximum of 3 years.
- The safe keeping and security of the data stored by this application is ultimately the responsibility of the user of this application. This includes all back-ups, print-outs, files, etc, as generated by the application, and which the soft copies may or may not be stored locally on this device as determined by the user.
- It is strongly recommended that this device and application be secured with a strong password, and to ensure that only authorized personnel have access to this device. Change the password frequently and / or if it is suspected that it has been compromised.
- For data recovery, it is also strongly recommended that this entire device is backed up automatically to an Apple iCloud account. Otherwise, should this device be lost or malfunction, the data may not be recoverable.
- For added protection, there are also an automatic data back up function and a manual data back up function. The automatic back up will be taken at most once a day, and requires you to grant iCloud access to the app. Please NOTE that if you have inadvertently signed out of your application and wish to restore from the automatic back up, DO NOT immediately login again – instead use the Restore function (while using an Evaluation account) to avoid the automatic back up being overwritten. If in doubt, contact us. The manual function may be used at user determined frequencies and saved at user determined locations to create copies of the data. However, the safe keeping and security of these copies is entirely the user’s responsibility.
- The accuracy, verification and validation of the data stored with this application is the responsibility of the user. To facilitate accuracy, this device has to be set to the correct location, time zone, date and time. Furthermore, while various data input verification and validation checks have been incorporated into the application, the user must continue to manually verify and validate the data for accuracy and correctness.
- The developer / service provider of this application makes no warranties or guarantees with regards to the security, accuracy or validity of the data store within / by this application. If the in-built features of this application is deemed to be insufficient, please immediately discontinue usage.
General
- In order to properly use this application, the following is required:
- A valid and non-expired account (non-evaluation).
- This application must be installed on an internet-connected (WiFi, Cellular or both) device, and the device should be password protected at all times. The device must be reset / cleared of this application should the device be sold or transferred to another user. That is, if the device is sold or transferred to another user, the application should be completed deleted prior to hand over to the receiving party.
- Each account can only be used on 1 device at any 1 time. To reinstall the application or to use this application on another device, first appropriately back up the data to a secure and accessible location, and log out from the original installation.
- The developer / service provider makes no warranties or guarantees with regards to this application and / or its use. The use of this application is done entirely at the user’s own risk.
- The developer / service provider reserves the right to terminate this service / application at any time and without any prior notice.
- The developer / service provider reserves the right to amend / change these terms & conditions at any time and without any prior notice.
